Fruita, Colorado

Mountain biking mecca

Fruita, CO has a small town feel and it only 15 minutes from the all the amenities of Grand Junction. Living in Fruita, the basics are covered, there is a City Market and general stores and a nice bike shop. There are a few new communities in Fruita and many farms/ranches in the outlying areas and estate homes. There are also older in town homes, some dating back to about 1900. Fruita is home of the Country Jam festival, held every spring.
